James has over 12 years of user acquisition marketing experience across a range of products and markets. He launched his career at Gamesys, one of the world’s leading online gaming operators with annual revenues of over £150m, initially working to acquire customers for their UK and Spanish-facing sites. He then launched the mobile marketing for Gamesys’ freemium gaming division, building and leading a team that was responsible for millions of dollars of annual ad spend. Following Gamesys’ full consideration £730m sale to the Intertain Group in 2015, James decided to follow his passion for the start-up ecosystem and move to the travel fintech company WeSwap where he built out the digital marketing function. He has helped the business to triple revenues in the period since he joined. James is well-versed in all the key digital user acquisition channels and equally comfortable executing campaigns himself and managing teams and agencies.
