The Curators raise £1M investment from Velocity Capital

We are delighted to announce the fund’s recent investment into The Curators, the award-winning UK challenger brand on a mission to bring functional savoury snacking to mainstream consumers. They are supercharging savoury snacks with their range of nutritionally superior, (extremely) delicious, high-protein products.

The Curators was founded in 2018 by industry friends Max Rees and Ed Hauck. They have built an impressive distribution network with their products available nationwide in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons and are the number 1 in the category on Amazon. The high-protein product range includes Pork Puffs, Veggie Puffs, Beef Biltong, and seasoned Nut Mixes. The recent launch of Veggie Puffs, as well as the acquisition of the Cheesies brand in January, has augmented The Curators’ ability to cater to the vegetarian market as they continue to build a high protein offering for a broad consumer base – all united by a love of savoury snacks. Our investment runs alongside Yeo Valley Associates, the venture arm of Yeo Valley. We look forward to working alongside the team as they embark on this next chapter!
